Thomas D. Jackson

LIFE REFLECTIONS

THOMAS DAILEY JACKSON JR.,  was born on October 8, 1931, in Marshall, Texas to the proud parents of Thomas Dailey Jackson Sr. and Azalea Rusk Jackson.

Jacson worked at Parkland Hospital for almost 31 years before his retirement.  He was avid husband, father, and friend to so many.  He loved his family more than anything and spent countless hours showing his support. Even though Jackson was very ill he still stated that he was "Feeling Pretty Good".  He was known as Busta to his family, but to others he was known as Action Jackosn for his boot wearing, watching westerns and making his famous salmon croquettes.  Jackson was a loyal and compassionate friend to those lucky enough to have known him.

Jackson was a member of the Cedar Grove Christian Church for a number of years.

When the father in heaven called his name, Thomas D. Jackson peacefully entered Heaven's gates, surrounded by his loving family, in his home on Wednesday,  May 6, 2020.  Jackson joins his parents, Thomas Dailey Jackson Sr., and Azalea Rusk Jackson, his mother in law, Della Thomas, and great-great-daughter, Royalty Mason Bell in eternal rest.

Jackson is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Lillie R. Jackson of 30 years.  Jackson was a dedicated father of five children Dianne Lockhart  (Henry David Jr.), Lillie Lockhart (Lepoleon Weatherspoon), Christopher Calhoun (Queena Thomas), Yolanda Turner (Charlie Turner), and Alinda Willis (Channin Willis).  He also survived by three (3) sisters in laws, Eddie Sims, Willie Davis, and Mon McClenton.  15 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of others relatives and friends.

The wonderful memories we have of Jackson and the impressions he left in our hearts, will be with us forever.
