Bobby Ray Leath, Sr.
July 7, 1957 - March 11, 2017
Bobby Ray Leath Sr. was born in Dallas, TX on July 7, 1957 to the parentage of
Major Leath and Willie Mae Johnson. To that union three children were born. He received his
education at David W. Carter High School and Prairie View A&M University.
Bobby was a beloved husband, loving father, endearing brother and embracing
grandfather that will be greatly missed.
He later met and married Linda Rogers, no children were born to the union.
He united with Cedar Grove Christian Church under the leadership
of Pastor Larry Robertson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Major, mother, Willie Mae,
brother, Will Green and sisters, Mary Green and Shelia Ashby.
Bobby leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Linda; children, Bobby Jr. (Lakeisha),
Terry (LaTavia), Tomieka, Shaniequa and R.L.; brother, Major Green;
special sister-in-law, Gail Rogers; fourteen grandchildren; a host of
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
