Duties and Responsibilities

The Cleaning Ministry President provides leadership and oversight of the Cleaning Ministry at Cedar Grove Christian Church. The President is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and supervising cleaning activities to ensure that the church facilities remain clean, safe, orderly, and welcoming for worship, fellowship, and ministry activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the Cleaning Ministry, ensuring that all cleaning responsibilities are properly assigned and completed.

  • Develop and maintain cleaning schedules for regular worship services, special programs, church meetings, and events.

  • Oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of the sanctuary, fellowship hall, classrooms, restrooms, offices, kitchen, and other church facilities.

  • Work collaboratively with the Deacons Ministry, Trustees, and other church ministries to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of church property.

  • Recruit, organize, and encourage volunteers to participate in the Cleaning Ministry.

  • Monitor cleaning supplies, equipment, and maintenance needs and communicate necessary purchases or repairs to church leadership.

  • Ensure that church facilities are properly prepared before services and cleaned following church activities.

  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and faithful service among ministry members.

  • Report facility concerns, safety hazards, and maintenance issues to the appropriate church leadership.

  • Attend ministry leadership meetings and provide updates regarding cleaning activities and facility needs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pastor and church leadership.

Through dedication, teamwork, and faithful stewardship, the Cleaning Ministry President helps maintain a welcoming environment where members and visitors can gather to worship and fellowship.
