Deacons Ministry

The Deacons Ministry cooperates with the Elders in promoting the spiritual growth, unity, and welfare of Cedar Grove Christian Church. Deacons serve the congregation through worship, fellowship, compassion, and dedicated service.

Their duties and responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and welcoming worshippers.

  • Preparing and distributing the Lord’s Supper.

  • Assisting with the blessing and presentation of offerings.

  • Supporting financial canvasses and church fundraising efforts.

  • Ministering to families during times of sickness and bereavement.

  • Assisting in preparing candidates for baptism.

  • Supporting the Cleaning Ministry by helping maintain the cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of the church facilities, ensuring a welcoming and respectful environment for worship and fellowship.

  • Performing other duties as assigned by church leadership.

Through their faith, humility, and commitment to serving others, the Deacons Ministry helps strengthen the congregation and supports the mission and continued growth of Cedar Grove Christian Church.
